Lasers have gone beyond simple scanning effects to now offer sophisticated graphics and animations. Of course, those type of features usually come at a cost. The new “Animate” series from Light Emotion offers a high-end range of effects and power, at affordable prices. This unit offers 80 different graphics, patterns, shapes, messages and cartoon style animations that can be easily dialled up, via the 17 channels of available DMX. Zoom, speed, strobing, clipping and mirror movement can all be controlled to create customised shows and designs. An integrated LED display allows for simple DMX addressing, and sound active or master/slave operation. At the business end, the high quality scanner provides fluid movement and includes pre-programmed internal “shows”. There’s also key lock and an aperture cover that exceed Australian safety standards. This model offers a vivid blue beam.
