Due to continued growth we are looking for an additional person to assist with our Installation, Productions, Event set ups and Deliveries. This is an exciting opportunity with Lightsounds, Australia’s leading network of professional audio, lighting and DJ equipment suppliers. We are looking for a person who is looking for great growth potential within our successful Production and Installations department. This department incorporates pro-audio, lighting and A/V hire, productions, deliveries, as well as temporary and permanent installations.

Reporting to the Store and company General Managers, this challenging and varied position will involve a high level of autonomy once competence in the job has been established. The responsibilities of this role will include:

• Temporary and Long-term installation and commissioning of pro Lighting and Audio set-ups
• Delivery, Set up, Operation and Pull down of events for clients of various sizes
• Potential to specifying and quote, including liaising with outside suppliers to source additional resources
• Potential to Manage logistics, including on-site supervision
• Providing technical advice to clients
• Hands-on technical assistance required
• Occasional work outside of regular business hours as the need arises
• Developing and maintaining a close relationship with clients

For this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality service to a broad range of clients within the entertainment and events industries. Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Technical experience in the professional audio and/or lighting industries
• The ability to liaise effectively with clients, with a history of delivering superior customer-service
• The capacity to work independently with strong problem-solving capabilities
• The flexibility to be able to work well within in a team environment.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Good personal presentation with strong written and verbal communication skills
• A current manual driver’s license
