British Techno pioneers Underworld have been appointed Music Directors of the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony. Artistic Director Danny Boyle, well reknowned for films such as Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire, appointed the duo who he recently collaborated with on a version of Frankenstein. Rick Smith and Karl Hyde will supervise the music in the three-hour ceremony on 27 July, 2012.
