BEAMERLED
The Beamer LED is a centerpiece disco fixture that shoots beams in three directions through 15 lenses. It uses 5 x 3Watt LEDs that colour mix Red, Green, Blue, Amber and White to create a rainbow of colours and fast moving beams. Use as a centre piece or as an exciting "floor filler" effect at dance events. Run via DMX, master/slave or sound active.
RAZORTRI
The Razor Tri sends a barrage of sharp edged beams firing out to every corner of a venue. Bright and colourful with wide beam coverage makes the Razor the light of choice. Especially for the party DJ that wants plenty of bang for buck from their fixtures. 2 x 8Watt RGBW/A LEDS provide a spectacular display of colour in motion. DMX equipped.
PARBAR3TRI
The new PARBAR from Light Emotion comes with more powerful and improved Tri Colour LEDs, which provide increased brightness and smoother colour mixing. The technology of 3-in-1 LEDs eliminates the colour shadow or halo effect generated by many RGB fixtures. This package offers four LED heads, each containing 7 x 3Watt LEDs with substantial output levels. This combination gives the user full DMX control and a convenient foot pedal for ease of use even during a performance. For stage work and touring the whole package packs down into a compact carry case. As with all LED lighting there’s the economic and environmental benefits of reduced power draw, no duty cycle, low heat and the extremely long life of the LED lamp. Perfect for touring musos, party DJs and anyone that requires a simple and affordable stage lighting system.

Now, MixVibes releases Cross 2.4, a new version of its flagship software for Mac/PC. This version has 4 decks and a new sync mode.
4 full decks and a redesigned sampler
Cross now features 4 full decks. They can be controlled by Pioneer CDJs and MIDI controllers. Mappings for popular 4 deck controllers are included.
Decks C & D can be switched between players or samplers. The samplers layout has been redesigned for enhanced readability. Each pad has its own waveform, making it easy to know what sample is playing.
Sync Link mode, based on industry standard workflow
MixVibes’ philosophy is to create products with genuine DJ spirit. For this reason, Cross 2.4 designers got inspired by the CDJ 2000 Nexus workflow.
Sync Link works in a very simple way : each deck in sync follows the master. Master status is attributed automatically. Besides, the phase of each deck can be controlled manually with the pitchbend.
Classic trigger mode is still available in the preferences panel (so you really get the best of both worlds.)

I would like to thank Karl from the Hire Department at Lightsounds, for the efficient service and good advice on which equipment to hire for my daughter, Emily’s, 19th birthday party, which was held at home ,including in the backyard. I hired 2 Wharfedale powered speakers which we were able to play music directly from an ipod. Also we hired 2 led parcans which were set to change colours with the music,and a water effect light, as well as using a minilaser, which gave a fast moving pattern of light dots on the side of the house. (We were careful to mount the minilaser so that it wouldn’t shine directly into any anybody’s eyes).
The lighting effect in the backyard, was spectacular, and it set the mood for an excellent birthday party.
