An exciting opportunity is now available with Lightsounds, Australia’s leading network of professional Audio, Lighting and DJ equipment suppliers. Based in one of our Sydney stores, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated, well-groomed and enthusiastic individual to join our busy sales and hire teams. The successful candidate will report to the Store Manager and be responsible for providing high-quality service to a broad range of professional- and consumer-level clients, with virtually limitless scope for growth and career development within the role.

This position will include functions not limited to:-
- Providing excellent Customer service and sales/hire at retail and B2B level
- Merchandising and in-store displays
- Inventory handling
- Communication with clients and processing orders including sales functions and cash handling
- Data input, office and reporting functions within the store

Successful candidates will possess the following:
- The ability to liaise effectively with clients, with a history of delivering superior customer-service
- Retail experience, with a knowledge of DJ, professional audio and/or lighting equipment highly regarded
- Good personal presentation with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A responsible and mature work attitude

Non-essential but desirable selection criteria include:
- Previous experience in a sales or BDM role
- Management experience, with demonstrable skills in co-ordinating staff
- A current manual driver’s license

Full time and Part Time positions available.

A good work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.

Please note that this position may involve regular weekend work.
