Oxford Falls has one of the finest education facilities in the country and the new school auditorium completes a highly professional place of learning. Like any school hall the demands placed on it are many and varied.

There are dramatic presentations, modern and classical dance productions, HSC rock and pop music recitals, orchestral performances, basketball tournaments and most recently school photo sessions.

The hall is a substantial space with sprung floors and artificial walls to divide it up for use by the different school groups.

The lighting requirements therefore needed to be flexible for use within the different spaces. Consideration also had to be made for two projectors and screens, placement of the collapsible auditorium style seating structure, and as the lighting bars were already in place, these needed to be utilised “in situ”. An overall solution was specified with a variety of FAL and Selecon profiles and fresnels along with Sunlite lighting control software. Light Emotion LED moving heads and powerful LED pars were used to provide colour and movement, with an Antari haze machine to round out the list.
