The Shell Harbour Anglican College approached Lightsounds Wollongong for a turn key audio and lighting solution for their newly built multi-purpose hall. The College is only four years old and classrooms are modern and technologically well equipped. Choirs, the school orchestra, school assemblies, plays and bands were all intended to utilise the space and the hall is even used by church groups in the weekend. So the brief specified a flexible audio and lighting stage set up for a wide variety of uses. A strong emphasis was placed on using LED technology, both serving as an energy efficient and more convenient lighting option for end users. Furthermore a value packed solution was required to get the most out of the school budget. The installation was conducted mid week with a stipulation not to disrupt regular classroom activity. OH and S guidelines were strictly followed and Lightsounds liaised with in house electricians for cabling placement and requirements.
