Lightsounds Leichhardt is situated within a landmark iconic 3-storey building located on the corner of Parramatta and Carrington Roads. Our address is 776 Parramatta Rd Lewisham NSW 2049.
Lightsounds first opened in Leichhardt in 1995 as the founding business trading since 1984 expanded into the retail of professional Lighting and Audio equipment. In 1998, the expansion of the business was such that it warranted the move to much larger premises to cater for the rapidly increasing business the store was carrying out.
Lightsounds Leichhardt is the Lightsounds group’s flagship store. Spread over three levels, it features a huge range of the best quality Audio, Lighting and DJ gear at the most affordable prices.
Our aim is to provide our customers with expert guidance in a range of products & services. We are one of the largest equipment hire stores in Sydney and we also have an extensive range of gear for demonstration and customer use. We have two dedicated Lighting and Audio demonstration rooms filled with the latest and greatest gear.

XS DEPARTMENT: Specialises in the sale of used, second hand, damaged, discontinued, ex demonstration, ex hire and all sorts of other gear that simply cannot be sold as brand new at drastically reduced prices. Leichhardt has a huge collection of bargains in-store, so come in and have a browse.
TRADE INS: If you are looking to upgrade your gear and don’t quite have enough cash, then a trade in may be your answer. Lightsounds is an authorized second hand goods dealer and as such, is able to trade-in just about anything.

Experience: DJing since 1997 and since then Raine has been following DJ technology very closely from vinyl to the advent of CDJs to computer based DJing and beyond.
Areas of Expertise: Djing of all forms as well as Video Turntablism. Apart from the DJing side of things, Raine has also spent a few years mastering audio production tolls such as Ableton, Maschine, and the Native Instruments virtual instrument collections. Raine's extensive knowledge of the DJ Technology world makes him an encyclopedia on the subject.
