Lightsounds Sydney City has been Servicing Sydney’s nightclub and bar scene for over ten years! The store first opened its doors in December 1998 becoming Sydney’s second largest professional DJ, Lighting and Audio store after Lightsounds Leichhardt.

Located in Darlinghurst, the store is in the hub of Sydney’s DJ and club culture. The store is fully stocked with the latest gear whether it be speakers, lighting gear, control gear or the latest in digital DJ technology.

Hire Department: Whether you need to hire gear for a small weekend party, a corporate event, or a full nightclub set up, Lightsounds can help. We can quote for your Club Installation and Long Term Hires especially for Sydney City area. We are local and can ensure that your emergencies are acted on as soon as possible

Deliveries: Don’t have a car? Finding it hard to pick up the gear?

Lightsounds Darlinghurst can deliver in most cases! Call for a price.

DJ Booth: Come and record your own set or just brush up on your skills in the DJ booth using nightclub grade equipment. Brett will happily give you some tips to help improve your sets.

Trade ins: If you are looking to upgrade your gear and maybe don’t quite have enough cash, then a trade in may be your answer. Lightsounds is an authorized second hand goods dealer and as such, is able to trade in pretty well anything within reason.

Areas of Expertise: With over 20 years of industry experience, combined with over 11 years of Lightsounds store experience mostly in management, Brett has the experience to point you in the right direction for your audio and lighting needs, whatever your budget. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced professional Brett can relate to your individual needs. Brett is familiar with DJ set ups of any scale, audio solutions, lighting and lighting control, trussing systems and more.

Name: Raine
Position: Sales
Experience: DJing since 1997 and since then Raine has been following DJ technology very closely from vinyl to the advent of CDJs to computer based DJing and beyond. 
Areas of Expertise: Djing of all forms as well as Video Turntablism. Apart from the DJing side of things, Raine has also spent a few years mastering audio production tolls such as Ableton, Maschine, and the Native Instruments virtual instrument collections. Raine's extensive knowledge of the DJ Technology world makes him an encyclopedia on the subject.
